Mi16 (405 XU9J4)

The Mi16 engine was by far the most popular engine conversion in the 90s for all the right reasons, light weight, responsive and a rev band that will put a smile on your face. This is my go to engine for all people who want to experience that full fat adrenaline rush.

8 valve gti turbo

Whether its a true gti turbo conversion, 405 Sri or an orignal Turbo techinics

Gti 6 / Xu10 Conversion

Although not my favourite engine choice, the Gti-6 is certainly not a bad engine when considering boosted or full applications, were the iron block is much more rigid and shorter stroke enabling higher RPM

3.0 litre v6 ES9J4/S/A

Having extensive experience with the v6 over the last 20 years, I feel this engine is seriously over looked, not a great match for a 205, unless your wanting a cruise missile, then this engine is better suited for rear engine conversion and the Peugeot 309 or 405 variants

Renault F4RT Megane RS

This engine is no stranger to me, After owning a megane rs many years ago, I fell in love with its heart, This conversion, being a rather lengthy and complex one, has more benifts over the iron block xx engines, the engine sits up straight and further fowards making it the far better choice for rear engine conversions, furthermore its gearbox is far stronger than any other peugeot gearbox.

Hybrid engine build

Hybrid is simply and engine built with other parts from other engines, for example as pictured, an 8 valve gti engine but with mi16 internals. These custom builds are much cheaper than going the fully forged route, when fast road applications are used

EW10JRS (206 Gti 180)

The 206 180 engine is certainly a great piece of engineering, but unfortunately a very expensive route to power, these engines require fairly advanced engine management systems to run correctly when VVT is enabled, furthermore the effort needed to install is one of the most complex and time consuming conversion out there, due to its height, its like shoe horning an elephant into your dinning room for tea
