Plug and play conversion looms

Engine management/conversion looms

Standalone management is essential when going down the route of an engine conversion, due to the poor state and age of OEM engine looms these days, its unfortunate, but I have now stopped using them, when they have demonstrated serious reliability and running issues.

The best solution is to start from new with the added benefit of 21st century technology that simply transforms the performance and control over the engine, never thought possible back in the day, Power/torque can increase by up to 20%, better MPG and the throttle response is just so much better, plus no more “kangarooing” or starting and idling issues.

My “Go to” ECU manufacture is Haltech, however I have also done Omex, KMS, DTA, LINK  or Emerald ECUs for the last 25 years, whether its just ignition only for the use of carburettors or fully sequential injection for turbo applications.

All my looms come with an 10 year guarantee

There are 3 main loom Conduit/covering types

OEM conduit: The OEM look and best protection.

Motorsport specification: Heat shrink, moderate protection, cost the most

Over-braid or Japanese finger puzzle (I like to call it): Moderate protection, best looking

 And 3 different ECU types

Semi sequential, the cheapest and easiest route, Injectors and coils fire in pairs, ignition uses a simple coil pack such as the Ford Gen2 and HT leads (wasted spark system)

Fully sequential, requires cam sensor installation and coil on each plug (COP), takes a little more time tuning, but the gain in throttle response, MPG, slight increase in torque and a much smoother drive, its well worth it, a must for the V6

Mixture of both, cam sensor installation, sequential injection but using wasted spark system

Pricing is heavily dependant in age, vehicle, engine, conduit, system and ECU manufacture

All my looms come with the integrated sensor loom, for gauges, warning lights, reverse switch and stater functions.

Every loom is built to each vehicle/engine requirements and fits in replacement of OEM loom and routed out of the way and free from any heat sources and in a manner where installation looks correct and tidy. The ECU is located in the same place as OEM, keeping it in an area free from extreme heat and environmental changes.

If you wish to install the loom yourself, then it will come fully labelled and including a video for trouble free installation and by the phone support 7 days a week.
